improving the safety situation

Everybody is given the opportunity to ask questions about anything that they feel could be a safety risk and to share any ideas they may have for improving the safety situation. In order to make sure that this communication takes place, the Mellett SHEQ Manager visits the site in accordance with local site management, meets with the Mellett personnel stationed there, and checks the efficacy of our safety procedures where they count—at the workplace.

It is customary to take advantage of these trips to provide toolbox talks, which serve to reaffirm best practises and guarantee that everyone is aware of the “dos and don’ts” of staying safe.

This level of hands-on communication greatly improves project workflow.
